TEHRAN -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that no person in their right mind would carry out aggression and seek hegemony.

Speaking at the Wars for Peace Conference in Tehran on Saturday, Ahmadinejad said, “No one in their right mind would ever commit aggression and pursue hegemony because he regards aggression as being below human dignity.”
“Almost all wars have been waged by rulers whose heart and mind were not well-adjusted,” he added.
“The fact that they have occupied a land without any reason, do not recognize the rights of the people in that region, kill women and children in cold blood, and use chemical and atomic bombs in line with their aggressive policies indicates that their hearts are void of kindness,” Ahmadinejad stated.
The president also called injustice the “greatest enemy of humanity”, saying “All the wars in the world have their roots in injustice, oppression, selfishness, and quest for superiority.”
“A long-lasting peace will be established in the globe when (the promotion of) justice and kindness becomes the demand of all the people,” he said.
Over the past 200 years, several systems including Marxism and Capitalism have emerged, claiming to promote justice and liberation in the world but ended in failure, Ahmadinejad noted.
Those who have not understood the concept of justice and liberation cannot create an atmosphere of peace in the world, Ahmadinejad stated.
“Those who have launched wars against Iraq and Afghanistan with the aim of compensating for the shortcomings of their economic systems would not be able to bring peace to the world,” he said
